Set of ‘Malu’ Lounge Chairs by Diego Mattu for 1 P, Italy 1970s

Two sculptural lounge chairs designed by Diego Mattu for the Italian label 1P in the 1970s. Known as the Malu model, these chairs are celebrated for their exceptional comfort and relaxed, inviting form.
The interior is composed of molded polyurethane foam that adapts to the body, offering a supportive yet soft seating experience. A black polyester shell wraps seamlessly from front to back, providing structure while holding the design together visually and functionally.
